San Jose, CA – On March 27, 2024, ·ð×æ½ûФͼ’s Board of Trustees approved four new grants totaling $467,500. The grants are part of quarter three of ·ð×æ½ûФͼ’s fiscal year 2023-2024 $2.3 million grantmaking budget, supporting community organizations and public agencies aligned with ·ð×æ½ûФͼ’s mission of building health equity in Silicon Valley.
Three ·ð×æ½ûФͼ Partnership Fund grants have been awarded: two in alignment with the Supportive Housing focus area to Bill Wilson Center and Mosaic America; one to Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI) aligned with the Chronic Disease focus area. Fostering Promise received a grant aligned with the ·ð×æ½ûФͼ Equity Fund.
Together, the approved grants aim to improve health in our community by integrating wellness and nutrition services into senior and youth transitional housing; strengthening nonprofit organizational capacity for advocacy; and improving access to HIV care for at-risk community members.

·ð×æ½ûФͼ Partnership Grants support organizations, projects, and programs that align with our mission and three focus areas: Food and Nutrition, Chronic Disease Prevention & Management, and Supportive Housing.
Asian Americans for Community InvolvementTo pilot a new referral process to streamline and optimize referrals to AACI’s health clinic that will eliminate barriers to accessing care for HIV prevention and medications like PrEP/PeP for marginalized and at-risk community members.

·ð×æ½ûФͼ Equity grants are designed to support projects that fall outside of our Focus Areas, yet support the health and well-being of communities disproportionately impacted by health disparities.
